Why I’m voting for John Benson
Three words I would use to describe John Benson, who is running for Vt. State Senate.
Value-driven: Albeit a more modern phrase used often in professional settings, it describes someone who filters every decision through a core set of ethics rather than purely chasing profit or convenience.
Conscientious: Highlighting John’s dedication to doing what is right. A careful, deliberate man, guided by his inner sense of duty.
Virtuous: Because John actively practices moral excellence and embodies good character.
I evaluate candidates based on their character and merit rather than their party affiliation. For me, choosing a leader is a deeply personal decision that starts from a strong moral and ethical foundation. Having had the privilege of serving alongside John on the Brookfield Selectboard, I have firsthand insight into his leadership and can confidently speak to his integrity and dedication. John Benson will have my vote for the Senate seat to represent Orange County in the upcoming election.
