Congress should support Social Security, Medicare
A recent story in the Valley News, headlined “World’s Most Powerful Senior Center,” points out that the more senior members of Congress “naturally spend more time on some issues that are particularly important to older Americans…”
I like the wishful thinking — would that anyone in Congress over 65 keeps Medicare and Social Security top of mind. Remove the income cap. It’s that simple, even at my age.
