A Lebanon School District bus was involved in a crash Friday morning at Exit 19 on Interstate 89 in Lebanon. No students were on board at the time, according to Jack Rooney, the district’s director of communication and community relations.
An ambulance responded to the scene, and EMTs evaluated the bus driver but determined the driver did not need further treatment, Rooney said.
The district sent another bus to complete the Mount Lebanon Elementary School route that the original bus had been about to start. Mount Lebanon staff notified affected families about the delay, and the bus arrived at school about 15 minutes late, Rooney said.
The Lebanon Police Department is investigating. Police did not provide any additional information about the crash.
