Steven Mellar, age 88, passed away on July 30, 2026. Born in Cegléd, Hungary, Steven immigrated to the United States to build a new life rooted in hard work, resilience, and devotion to family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gerlinde, who passed away on November 12, 2020.
Steven is survived by his children: Steven (wife Marion), James, Michael, and Diana; and his two grandchildren, Alexander and Stephanie.
A private gathering to celebrate his life will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Branch Ambulance.
