On Aug. 11, the voters of Norwich, Thetford, Sharon and Strafford will cast their votes to select the two Democrats that will appear on the November ballot for the Orange Windsor 2 House seats. Because there are no Republicans running for this seat it’s almost certain that the two candidates selected in this upcoming primary will be our representatives come January.
I hope you’ll support Lauren Morando Rhim for one of those seats on Aug. 11. I have known Lauren for over a decade since serving with her on the Norwich School Board. I know her to be a balanced, thoughtful and caring Vermonter who listens to constituents, does the homework and strives to find practical solutions for problems.
Our next legislative session will likely be dominated by education issues once again. Lauren’s professional experience in the field of special education and her service on the school board make her uniquely positioned to engage thoughtfully in this work. She knows first hand the challenges, complexities and also the opportunities in our public education system.
Don’t stay home on Aug. 11. Get out and cast a vote for Lauren Morando Rhim!
