I am writing to urge voters in Vermont’s primary election to select Aly Richards for Governor and Molly Gray for Lt. Governor. I know both well having worked with them on social and economic development issues that are critical to our wellbeing.
Both women are champions for childcare, healthcare, housing and career and technical education. They have track records of working with elected officials in Montpelier and Washington to make living in Vermont better and easier. These are issues that have not been addressed successfully for more than decade.
I have also worked with Gov. Scott and I commend many of his efforts. However, I sincerely believe that Aly and Molly can make much better headway working with the Legislature using a detailed agenda to preserve what we love about living here. We need to keep our young people in state and attract new employees with an affordable lifestyle, housing, health care, and retirement options that used existed previously.
The stakes are high, and we need leaders ready to act now! Thank you.
