Charles Creem

Unity, NH – Charles W. Creem 83, of Unity, NH died on Friday, July 17, 2026. He was born in Connecticut on July 12, 1943, the son of the late Charles and Marion (Crawford) Creem.

He and his wife resided in Connecticut until moving to Unity, NH in 1999. He dedicated 40 years to General Dynamics, Electric Boat in Groton, Conn. He poured his heart and soul and meticulous skill into Constructing the advanced nuclear submarines that protect our freedom. Throughout his time at EB, he experienced the immense pride of witnessing several submarine roll-outs and launch ceremonies. Standing at the waterfront, watching a vessel he helped build, slide into the water for the very first time was always rewarding to him. He leaves behind a permanent legacy in the steel and technology of the U.S. Navy fleet.

In 1999 he and his wife of 60 years moved to Unity, NH to build their home. He was a devoted collector of antique cars and took pride in entering them in car shows. When Unity Old Home Day came around, he enjoyed pulling the grand kids in the trailer with his Farmall Cub tractor.

He leaves behind his sister Elizabeth Rogers and her husband Al of Frostproof, FL., three daughters, Stephanie Crosby and her husband Raymond of Acworth, NH; Beth Bristol and her husband Robert of Sterling, CT., and Kimberly Carrier and her husband Lucas of Lempster, NH. Six grandchildren, Brendan Crosby and his wife Aislinn, Collin Crosby and his wife Mollie, Bria Swabby and her husband Jared, Casey Bristol and his wife Hailey, Kylah Carrier, and Falynn Bristol. Seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews that he held dear to his heart.

He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Creem, and his sister Rosemary Donadio of Frostproof, FL.

A private burial will be held at Center Cemetery in Unity, NH at a later date.
