NORWICH — A portion of Route 132 in Norwich will be closed for around a month beginning July 6 for a culvert replacement project.
The construction work will take place in the area surrounding 511 Route 132, according to an announcement from the town’s Department of Public Works. Motorists will have to use Union Village Road, which is around a half-mile away, and Route 5, which is around 1½ miles away.
Town officials are asking drivers to “plan accordingly and allow extra travel time during the construction period,” according to the announcement.
