ORFORD — The New Hampshire Snowmobile Association has selected an Orford resident as its “Landowner of the Year.”
Tom Thomson, of Orford, was honored during the organization’s annual meeting in May at Mascoma Valley Regional High School in Canaan, according to a news release from the Tilton, N.H.-based group. Thomson and his wife, Shelia, own the Thomson Family Tree Farm.
“For decades, Tom has generously allowed the Lyme Pinnacle Snowmobile Club to utilize his land, making connections possible and experiences unforgettable for our riders,” New Hampshire Snowmobile Association President Terry Callum wrote in the release. “Tom has deep passion for the clubs, the association, and the agencies that support our work.”
