David Carver

Claremont, NH – David Carver, passed away on June 17, 2026.

He was born in Lebanon, NH on April 17, 1939, the son of Frederick E. and Jessie (Graham) Carver.

David graduated from KUA in 1957, where he played Varsity hockey and soccer. He attended Tufts College from 1957-1958 and then graduated from Boston University in 1962.

He became a teacher at KUA from 1962-1971. He also coached Varsity soccer and was an Assistant coach of Varsity hockey.

He then moved to Deerfield Beach, Florida in 1971, after training for a nursing home administrator in Rochester, NY. Working at the Fountains Nursing Home in Boca Raton from 1971-1973.

David was predeceased by his parents, his son, Chris Carver; stepdaughter, Tammie Bean and brothers, James and Douglas Carver.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Bean) whom he married in 1976; sister, Jane Fielder; grandson, Maxwell Carver; stepdaughters, Pamela Johnson and Samantha Bean.

Funeral services will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home in Claremont on Friday, June 26th with calling hours from 10am to 11am and a service at 11am. Burial will follow at Mills Cemetery in Meriden, NH.
