ROYALTON — The Vermont State Police are investigating after a 19-year-old Vermonter was injured in a rollover on I-89 North on Monday.
The “initial investigation” revealed only one vehicle and person to be involved: a 2025 KIA Seltos operated by 19-year-old Ariyana Little of Barre, Vt., according to a Vermont State Police news release.
South Royalton EMS transported Little, who was wearing a seat belt, to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center to be evaluated for injuries.
The crash took place at interstate mile marker 19.2 in Royalton amid sunny and dry conditions, the release said.
The 12:05 p.m. crash resulted in a two-hour lane closure along the stretch of road where the accident occurred, Vermont State Police spokesman Adam Silverman said in an email.
The vehicle was considered a total loss, the news release stated.
