WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — The No. 4-seeded Hartford Hurricanes baseball team lost 7-0 to no. 5 U-23 in the quarterfinals of the Vermont DII baseball playoffs on Friday at Maxfield Sports Complex in White River Junction.

The visiting visiting Raiders scored four runs in the early innings and three more in the top of the seventh to put the game away. Hartford managed just a handful of hits on the the day.
