Lebanon sweeps Stevens Twilight meet
The Lebanon girls and boys track team won the Stevens Twilight meet on Thursday at Monadnock Park in Claremont.
First-place finishes for the Raider girls included Ellis Harrington (400 meters), Julia McGee (800 meters), Mia Sweeney (1,600 meters), Charlotte Smith (3,200 meters), and the 4 by 100 relay team (Emma Fellows, Carter Breedlove, Maggie Del Frari, and Lyla Weinstein)
The Lebanon boys had firsts by Teeghan Joyner (200 meters), Owne Tuohy (800 meters), Ian Kiefer (1,600) Alstair Smith (3,200 meters), Gardell Wetherington (110 meter hurdles) Caden Piper (300 meter hurdles), the 4 by 100 relay team (Alexzander Averine, Cole Perry, Oscar Gulledge, Joyner), and the 4 by 400 relay team (Luke Finely, Declan Read-Murrell, Cooper Rhoads, Daniel Calderon-Rios.) Stevens Justin McGuire won the high jump and the triple jump. Mascoma’s Sam Joyce won the 100 and 200 meters. Reece Yorke, Alexander Deserrano, Ian Massecar, and Joyce were second in the 4 by 100 for the Royals.
For the Stevens girls, Maddy Chambers won the 100 meters and Faith Norton the 200 meters, with a second-place finish in the 100 meters. Sophia Smith won the high jump, and Montana Ballard the triple jump for Mascoma.
