Vote yes on Article 7
A while ago I wrote to the forum to make Hanover folks aware of a vote coming on May 12 regarding an article that involves the allowance of constructing a quadruplex (with parking for 6 cars!) on any lot in any zone in Hanover that has town water and sewer, the consequence of which would be to ruin the character of the town.
For some reason Hanover residents still seem unaware of the dire consequences of that ordinance.
A yes vote on Article 7 would prevent that from happening. It is essential that voters turn out in large numbers to vote Yes on Article 7. ( It should be noted that Dartmouth students will turn out by the busload to vote no. Bless their hearts, they seem unaware that in a few years, 1,000 new beds along with a mandate to live on campus will blunt their off campus options.)
So, this is a strident cry for Hanover voters to show up at the polls on May 12 and vote Yes on Article 7. (A yes vote will prevent the quadruplex, cum 6 parking spaces, from occurring in any zone).
