The humanity of the unhoused
There have recently been some pictures and articles in the Valley News that have shown in a neutral or positive light unhoused people in our area.
I would love to read more about the unhoused in the community and their function in our society. I recall years ago there being gatherings under 1 Court st., and after that got cleaned up, some people moved to the nearby riverside under the bridge, but then access got made over into a lovely park along the rail, trail.
I am sure there are other areas I am totally unaware of.
Just as there are histories of the farms and structures that no longer exist, there could be histories of the unhomed; their places and lives.
