CLAREMONT — Ben Poland, Randy Cabral and Chris Chambers each won feature events Saturday as Claremont Motorsports Park opened its 79th consecutive season with a Spring Fling card that drew eight divisions to the historic third-mile oval.

Poland led nearly wire-to-wire in the 79-lap Outlaw Late Model feature, pulling away early before former multi-time track champion Guy Caron closed to within two lengths at the checkers. Tyler Lescord, Robbie Streeter, Trevor Rocke and Cody Schoolcraft rounded out the top five.

Chambers took over the Pure Stock lead on lap 10 and held off Carter Conroy the rest of the way in the 20-car field. Jimmy Zellman was third, Gage Dillingham fourth and reigning division champion Colton Hull fifth.

Cabral dominated both NEMA divisions. The nine-time series champion won both heat races, then took control of the Midget main on lap 13 and pulled away. Mike Horne was second, Brayden Egn third. In the Lites feature, Zach Martinez led throughout and held off Cabral by five lengths. Dylan Coutu was third.

Michael Yeaton led wire-to-wire in the Six Shooters, with Michael Casey pressuring him throughout. Meghan Bell, David Bell and Lincoln Herschel completed the top five.

Twin brothers Chase and Jaret Curtis of Rutland, Mass., staged a race-long battle in the Crown Vics, with Chase winning by inches. Steve Miller Jr. was third, followed by their father, Chris Curtis, and Josh Muir.

Andrew Harmon won the New England Dwarf Car feature ahead of Ryan Carman and Tom Harwood. Kendall Whitehill took the 603 Mini Cup opener over Jason Romprey and Jacob Raby.

The track’s 2026 NASCAR Weekly Racing Series season opens Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m.
