An anti-car agenda
Less than two years ago, Hanover tried out the idea of removing parking and the right turn lane from South Main Street. The result was something I’ve never seen before, traffic sitting in the South Street intersection.
Now the idea of removing parking and switching Main Street to parallel parking. It feels like there’s a not so hidden agenda to make Hanover unfriendly to cars. If that’s the goal the planners should just come out and say so.
