Lebanon, NH – Carol W. Tucker, 84, of Lebanon, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 31, 2026.
Born February 10, 1942, in Potsdam, New York, she was the daughter of Nettie and Robert Farr. Carol was a devoted mother to Matthew Tucker (Melissa) and Mary Tucker, and a deeply loved grandmother-“Meme”-to Kaela Aldrich (Clayton), Ryan Tucker (McKenna), Mason Tucker (Asha), Aiden Dempsey, and Bryson Tucker. She was also blessed with a great-grandson, Arthur John Aldrich.
A graduate of Keene State College, Carol dedicated her career to education, teaching at Hopkinton High School, Canaan Elementary School, and Enfield Elementary School. She later served the community as Director of the Mascoma Senior Citizens Center. In recognition of her service, she was named Canaan Citizen of the Year in 1992.
Carol was active in numerous community organizations, including the Canaan United Methodist Church, West Lebanon Congregational Church, 4 H, Lions/Lioness Club, and the Lebanon American Legion Auxiliary, where she served two terms as President.
She was predeceased by her husband, Glenn Tucker, and companion Don Belevance. She is survived by her siblings and many extended family members.
Services will be held May 9 at 11 a.m. at the West Lebanon Congregational Church. Donations may be made to the American Legion Post 22 or the West Lebanon Congregational Church.
