HARTLAND — Interstate 91 North between Hartland and Hartford was closed for about seven hours Tuesday for “roadway maintenance,” according to VT-Alerts from Vermont Emergency Management.
The stretch of interstate was closed around 8 a.m. and reopened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Motorists were encouraged to detour around the closure by taking Exit 9 in Hartland to Route 5.
The interstate was also closed in the same area for about an hour on Monday afternoon as officials worked to remove a tractor trailer from the road.
