CORINTH — A 38-year-old man died in an ATV rollover crash at the intersection of Turkey Hill and Goose Green roads over the weekend, according to Vermont State Police.

Lorin Burt, a Corinth resident, was identified as the operator of a 2026 Polaris Sportsman, police stated in a Sunday news release.

Troopers of the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to the crash, which occurred in clear weather conditions on wet gravel, at about 5:42 p.m. on Sunday, police said.

Initial investigation revealed Burt was ejected from the ATV after traveling southwest on Turkey Hill Road and making an abrupt turn.

Burt was pronounced dead at the scene despite life saving measures, police said. His body was subsequently transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Burlington for an autopsy.

In addition to Vermont State Police, Upper Valley Ambulance and the Corinth/Topsham FAST Squad responded to the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
