Playground ice slides
School Ice Slide Teams in Lyme and Hanover, congratulations. The 2026 winter was wonderful for ice, snow and children. Kids loved the smooth slippery slopes on their playgrounds. Due to the old-time quality January and February with steady cold and freshening snows, the slides lasted two months.
Thank you to the team leaders Mike Hoppa at Hanover’s Ray School and Brian Bretournay at Lyme School for coaching the parents, teachers and students. We welcome other schools to join the fun in 2027. All you need is a parent and a staff leader, snow, cold and gravity.
