LEBANON โ€” Police responded to the Lebanon Municipal Airport at about 1 p.m. on Tuesday after reports of an apparent suicide.

At the scene, police had cordoned off a section of the parking lot to conduct an investigation.

Lebanon Police Chief Phil Roberts confirmed that there was a deceased male and that the investigation was ongoing.

Airport Manager Carl Gross met first responders at the scene when they arrived. He said no changes were made to airport operations during the incident, and was unaware of the man’s connection to the community.

“The only other thing I’d say is if you see someone, a friend or relative, who is exhibiting some difficulties, try and get some help for them,” said Gross.
