Trump’s nefarious intentions
In earlier letters to the editor, and in a book I wrote and published last summer, I outlined why I stand firm in my belief that Donald Trump will remain president beyond 2028.
While I demonstrated how he will stay in office beyond the Constitutionally limited two terms, I did not in those letters and book go into much detail as to what his motivations are. Those motivations seem obvious enough: Trump is a power hungry narcissistic megalomaniac with delusions of godhood. But above and beyond his broken nature exists one important rationale for Donald Trump to not by choice relinquish his hold on the U.S. Presidency in 2028: he knows he will be indicted for crimes against humanity by the international court in The Hague; and he knows that a Democrat President and Congress will gladly extradite him to stand trial.
I would imagine that Trump occasionally awakens from his Big Mac induced slumber in a cold sweat, terrified at the prospect of the international humiliation that awaits him should he become a former president. Again, mark my words: Donald Trump’s presidency will not end with an election on 2028. He will not allow it to happen. And given his crimes, he cannot allow it to happen.
