Bravo, Mascoma High
Congratulations to Director Thomas Griffin and the cast and crew of Mascoma High School’s recent production of The Wizard of Oz. Sitting in the beautiful (and packed!) auditorium of the high school, I was transported to my youth, when watching this show on television was an annual treat. The characters were perfect in the roles in which they were cast. The demanding role of Dorothy was capably filled by Dani Carriere, whose beautiful voice and acting ability would have made Judy Garland proud! Of course, a real, live Toto, owned by Superintendent Amanda Isabelle, did claim part of the lime-light!
I would like to acknowledge all those who appeared on stage, but they are too numerous to mention! Auntie Em, Uncle Henry, Tinman, Cowardly Lion, and Scarecrow were all perfectly portrayed by Ailia Westgate, Aero Finger, Carter Nadeau, Quinn Ardolino , and Reese Woodward.
If you saw the show, wasn’t it a treat? If not, don’t miss the next one!
