CORNISH — Voters approved all warned articles at Saturday’s floor meeting.
Voters approved a proposed municipal general operating budget of $711,500, up from $695,000 approved last year.
They also approved a proposed highway budget of $845,000, with $110,000 anticipated to come from a state highway block grant. Last year, voters approved a $817,000 highway budget.
About 100 voters of the 1,160 on the checklist, or nearly 9%, turned out for Saturday’s floor meeting
Last Tuesday at the polls, voters elected Jason Bourne to a three-year term on the Selectboard.
In the school meeting on March 7, voters rejected a proposed bond to renovate the school, as well as a proposed tuition agreement with Plainfield for grades 6-8.
