NORWICH — In ballot voting on Tuesday, voters approved the proposed municipal budget of $6.86 million.

They also approved a proposed school district budget of $8.89 million.

In addition, they approved appropriations of $60,000 to the Emerald Ash Borer Response Fund and $396,000 to the library.

They approved two separate five-year extensions for property tax exemptions previously granted to the Root District Game Club and the Beaver Meadow Schoolhouse Association.

In uncontested races, voters elected Lisa Christie and Michael Costa to three-year terms on the Dresden-Norwich School Board. Garrett Palm earned a two-year term on the Norwich School Board.

On the municipal side, Brendan Classon earned a three-year term on the Selectboard. Robert Gere won a two-year seat as a write-in candidate.
