HANOVER โ€” SAU 70 has announced finalists for principal openings at two of its Hanover schools.

Search committees for the Bernice A. Ray School, an elementary school, and Frances C. Richmond Middle School, are in the final stages of selecting new principals and expect to announce new leaders in March.

The four finalists will visit their respective schools Tuesday to meet with students, faculty and community members, according to an SAU 70 webpage detailing the searches.

Kelly Pease, who serves as director of K-5 teaching and learning and intervention services at the Lake Washington School District in Redmond, Wash., and Colleen Roy, who serves as interim principal of the Ray School, have been named finalists to lead the Ray School.

Pease has held various roles in the Lake Washington School District โ€” including elementary school principal โ€” since 2000, according to the release.

Roy joined the Ray School in 2023 as math coordinator and worked for the ConVal School District in Peterborough, N.H., as an administrator and teacher from 2001 to 2023.

The finalists to lead Richmond Middle School are Anissa Morrison, who currently serves as interim principal at the school she’s worked at since 1993, and Timothy O’Leary, who currently serves as principal at Roxbury Prep Proctor Street Middle School, a charter school in Roxbury, Mass., according to a news release.

Morrison has also worked as the school’s associate principal and the family and consumer science teacher.

O’Leary previously worked as a teacher at Oxbow High School in Bradford, Vt.
