Articles of note: Three articles propose separate 1% taxes on rooms, on meals and alcoholic beverages, and on sales, all of which would be dedicated to offset capital expenses. 

Another article proposes a five-year municipal tax exemption for the West Windsor Fire Department. 

Contested races: Officers will be elected from the floor.  

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed general expenses budget is $779,000, with $470,000 raised by taxes. The proposed highway budget is $1.2 million, with $958,000 raised by taxes. The proposed library budget is $58,000, with all of it raised by taxes. The proposed cemetery budget is $5,500, with none of it raised by taxes. A total of $89,000 is proposed for the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Department, with an additional $14,500 toward the FAST Squad, Historical Society and Independence Day Committee, all raised by taxes.

When, where and how to vote: The floor meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 3 at 9 a.m. in Story Memorial Hall, located at 22 Brownsville-Hartland Road in West Windsor. Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the same day and in the same place. All items are voted by floor.
