Articles of note: In separate articles at Town Meeting, voters will be asked to consider the day and time of Town Meeting. They will be asked whether to continue to hold it on the first Tuesday in March and at 9 a.m.
Contested races: There are two candidates vying for a three-year term on the Selectboard: Alexandre Bird and Kevin Gish. School officers are elected from the floor.
Budgets and spending articles: The proposed school budget is $7.25 million, which is up from the $6.8 million budget voters approved last year. The proposed municipal budget is $2.22 million, up from the $2.1 million budget voters approved last year.
When, where and how to vote: The annual school meeting is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 2 at the Sharon Elementary School, 135 School Street. Town Meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 3 at 9 a.m. at the elementary school. Balloting for municipal officers will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the same day and in the same location.
