Contested races: Marianne McCann and Charles Peel are vying for a three-year term on the Selectboard.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed budget is $1.78 million, of which $1.33 million would come from taxes. Last year, voters approved a $1.75 million budget. Voters also will be asked to approve appropriations totaling $17,000 for nonprofit groups.

When, where and how to vote: Town Meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at the Chelsea Town Hall. Ballot voting on officers and zoning bylaws will take place that same day and place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
