Contested races: Officers will be elected from the floor.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed general fund budget is $1.53 million, with $1.17 million to come from taxes. The proposed highway fund budget is $335,000, with $275,000 to come from taxes. The proposed amount to come from taxes for the capital budget is $433,000. Last year voters approved aย $1.47 million general fund budgetย with $1.11 million to come from taxes; aย highway fund budget ofย $312,000, with $233,000 to come from taxes; and a capital budget withย $348,000ย to come from taxes.

When, where and how to vote: Town meeting and voting will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at the Fairlee Town Hall at 75 Town Common Rd.
