FAIRLEE — Julia Tran uses a chunk of snow as a makeshift curling stone while taking a break from skating the Lake Morey trail with a friend, Claire Vincent, both of Burlington.
The two came down for the day on Monday, rented skates and did about half of the 4-mile loop.
Along the way, they made snow angels and competed with one another in curling.
