LEBANON โ€” The city is seeking donations for people who stay at the winter shelter it operates with the Upper Valley Haven.

Among the items needed are: warm jackets size large and extra-large; men’s boots sizes 9, 10 and 11; gloves, wool socks; hats; waterproof backpacks; portable charger; and
Straight Talk cellphones with a month’s worth of minutes on the devices, according to a Tuesday announcement from the City of Lebanon.

Donations can be brought to the Lebanon City Hall lobby, located at 51 N. Park St., from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday or the Upper Valley Haven, located at 713 Hartford Ave., from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday in White River Junction.

Lebanon’s Emergency Winter Shelter, which opened Jan. 3, is open daily at 160 Mechanic St.

Those who need beds for the night can reserve them before 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday at TLC Resource Center, located at 24 Hanover St., in Lebanon. On Saturday and Sunday, people can sign up for cots at 5 p.m. at the shelter.
