NEWBURY, Vt. — A 69-year-old Wells River man died after his Chevrolet Colorado overturned into a pond off Tenney Pond Road on Thursday afternoon.
Jeffrey Linsky was driving north when his truck overturned into the body of water on Thursday at about 2:43 p.m., according to a news release from Vermont State Police.
First responders found Linsky unresponsive “and despite lifesaving efforts he was pronounced deceased,” the release said.
The weather was clear and the road conditions included packed snow.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
