A woman is helped up a bank along the Sawyer Brook by Grantham and Lebanon emergency personnel at a crash on Route 10 in Grantham on Thursday afternoon.
When driving north on Route 10, the driver of a GMC SUV missed a corner, then hit slush and jumped a snowbank, and was launched into the Sawyer Brook.
The driver was not injured in the crash. Traffic was stopped on Route 10 for about an hour.
Crews worked to stabilize the vehicle before using a ladder to help the driver up the bank.
