This is the second instance in less than a week of a pedestrian being seriously injured by a motor vehicle in the Upper Valley.

The fatal crash in Woodstock is the second Hartland resident to meet a tragic end following a crash in Woodstock in the past month. Benjamin Johnsen, a 19-year-old college student, was found dead along the Ottauquechee River after his car hit a tree on Route 4 late last month.
