HARTFORD โ Police arrested a Lebanon man on a warrant for domestic assault charges at Dothan Brook School on Friday afternoon.
At 2:07 p.m. on Friday, Hartford Police received a call that the man would be traveling to the school that afternoon, according to a Monday news release from Hartford Police Lt. William Furnari.
The man is alleged to have committed second-degree aggravated domestic assault on Nov. 25, for which the Windsor Criminal Division of the Vermont Superior Court issued an arrest warrant, the release said.
Hartford officers tried and failed to locate the man before staking him out at the school, where he was arrested “without incident” after the school’s dismissal time, according to the release.
Dothan Brook School has 241 pre-K to fifth grade students and is located on Route 5 in Hartford across from King Arthur Flour, according to the school’s website.
He was held without bail at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield, Vt., over the weekend, the release said.
