The resistance to the Trump administration’s abuse of power continues to grow. This is no longer a partisan issue, as evidenced by conservatives and independents joining with liberals to stand up against the deployment of federal troops in our cities and towns. Together, we are standing up against the assault on free speech. Together, we are standing up to the billionaires, who are so heartless and greedy they need to deny you and me affordable health care. Together, we are standing up to an administration trying desperately to make us hate each other.
We are all in this together. Please show your support for this great nation on Saturday, Oct. 18, at one of the thousands of gatherings rallying against the escalating abuse of power. Carry a sign, wave the flag, join the resistance. One day, you will be able to tell your grandchildren that you stood up to save democracy.
