ENFIELD — Vital Communities will host events in Enfield and Springfield, Vt., in the next few weeks for those interested in learning more about small-scale housing solutions.

Money lenders, builders, architects, septic designers, and local and state officials, among other experts, will be on hand to answer questions about building accessory dwelling units, or ADUs; converting a single-family home to multi-family housing; and building a “cottage cluster” of smaller homes, according to a news release from Vital Communities, a White River Junction-based nonprofit organization.

The Enfield Home Creators Expo, which is directed at Enfield residents and property owners, is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the town office building, Whitney Hall, located at 23 Main St.

The Springfield Area Home Creators Expo is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 8 at River Valley Tech Center, located at 307 South St.

Those interested in attending either of the events are encouraged to register at vitalcommunities.org/events.
