Kevin D. Carley

Enfield, NH – Kevin D. Carley, 60, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, surrounded by his devoted and beloved family and dearest friends, at the Jack Byrne Center after fighting a hard battle with cancer. He was born in Lebanon, NH, to Sterling “Jake” Carley and Judith (Moore) Carley on May 16, 1965.

Kevin graduated from Mascoma Valley Regional High School, class of 1983. After graduation he served in the US Navy aboard the USS Richard L Page FFG-5 from 1983 โ€“ 1987 as an IC3 E4. He then went to work for the Valley News as a pressman until 1997, when he joined the NH D.O.T. He retired as the Foreman out of Shed 224. Kevin then worked at Irving Oil, where he worked until his passing.

In 1985 Kevin married Heidi, the love of his life and his soul mate. All together they spent 44 years building a beautiful life of family, love and fun.

Kevin loved being with his family and friends, making long lasting memories. He loved going on vacations and excursions with Heidi and his best friends Andy and Sharon Stearns. Kevin was always happy attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, typically with his beloved Heidi riding on back. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and bird hunting with his son Travis and son-in-law, Adam. Kevin loved dogs (Some say he was a dog-whisperer). Most recently, Kevin was creating beautiful gifts for his family and friends on his 3D printer, and he loved his chocolate shakes.

Kevin is survived by his wife Heidi (Olsen) Carley, his mother Judith Carley, his daughter Jessica Barton and her husband Adam, his son Travis Carley and his wife Candice, his brother-in-law Hans Olsen and wife Caroline, and grandchildren Hannah Mae, Landon Michael, Sadie Marie and Owen Donn, and Nephews Gunnar and Ansel. He was predeceased by his father Sterling Carley.
