POST MILLS — A 65-year-old Post Mills man who had been missing since Saturday has been found, according to Thetford police.
William Townsend was located alive, the Thetford Police Department posted on its social media page on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
“He does require some medical help (no details known at this time and will not be shared due to privacy),” the post said. “He is getting the help.”
The post expressed gratitude to those in the community “who kept watch for or over the family.”
Townsend had been last seen Saturday afternoon leaving his residence in Post Mills, according to a previous post on the department’s social media page.
That post indicated he might have been in the area of the New Hampshire towns of Bridgewater or Ashland, the notice said.
