Springfield NH Memorial Day Remembrance: 10 a.m., Pleasant View Cemetery, 157 Cemetery Road. Includes remembrance service, color guard and music from the Kearsarge Regional Middle School Band. Refreshments follow at Springfield Meeting House. facebook.com/SpringfieldNhRecCommittee.

Norwich Memorial Day Parade: Noon. Parade route will start at American Legion Post 8, 228 Beaver Meadow Road. The group will stop at the bridge and Fairview Cemetery on Beaver Meadow Road for honors and a gun salute. The parade ends at the Veterans Memorials at Tracy Hall, where Memorial Day remembrance remarks will take place. 802-649-1419, ext. 5.

Monday (May 26)

Claremont: Memorial Day parade begins at 10 a.m. at Claremont Middle School and ends at Broad Street Park, where a ceremony will take place. Hosted by American Legion Post 29. 603-542-9222.

Hartford: Ceremony starts at Vermont Superior Court, 82 Railroad Row, at 10:30 a.m., then proceeds to Veteranโ€™s Memorial Park (12 Railroad Row), the Ralph Lehman Bridge (Bridge Street), Hartford Town Hall front lawn (171 Bridge St.) and ends at Hartford Point Cemetery, (804 Maple St./Route 14). At each stop, members of Hartfordโ€™s veterans organizations will place a wreath, play Taps and share words and prayers. 603-369-0329.

Tunbridge: The day begins at 10:30 a.m. at Town Hall (271 Route 110) with a program celebrating World War II veterans veterans from Tunbridge. Parade starts at 11 a.m., and will be followed by a ceremony at Hoyt Memorial Park at the Village Cemetery. A chicken barbecue to benefit the Tunbridge Volunteer Fire Department, ice cream and activities follow at the fairgrounds. Enfield: Parade begins at 11 a.m. on Main Street near the police station (19 Main St.), then goes up Route 4 and stops at the Veteransโ€™ Memorial Park. It will then travel to Oak Grove Cemetery, go back onto Main Street to the bridge by Copeland Block and end back at Whitney Hall. A brief ceremony will be held at each location. Lebanon: Parade begins at 11 a.m. on Hanover Street near Route 120 and Eldridge Street, pauses briefly at the Hanover Street bridge for a service, then continues around Colburn Park before entering the park through the gate near the post office for a ceremony. Memorial Day Service at Orford Congregational Church: 5 to 6 p.m., Orford Congregational Church, 617 Route 10 (Main Street).
