Contested races: There are two people running for one three-year term on the School Board representing New London: James MacKenna and Elizabeth Parrish Gunby.
Budgets and spending articles: The proposed budget is $55.4 million, up from $54.3 million last year. Voters also will be asked whether they support the cost of a new collective bargaining agreement with the Kearsarge Regional Educators Association, which includes a cost of $858,000 in the first year.
When, where and how to vote: Ballot voting takes place Tuesday, March 11. New London polls will be open at Whipple Hall from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day. Springfield polls will be open at the Springfield Meeting House from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day.
