Article of note: One petitioned town article, which is not recommended by the Selectboard, asks whether voters support reducing the Selectboard to three members. Another article asks whether voters support discontinuing a portion of George Moulton Way. A school article asks for $50,000 to hire a contractor to help the central office study the feasibility and suitability of the withdrawal of one or more pre-existing districts from the cooperative district.

Contested races: Two people are vying for one three-year term on the Selectboard: Charles E. Baraly and Garret Neill. Three people are vying for one two-year term on the Selectboard: Raymond J. Gosetti, Jeffrey M. Lessels and Steven A. Neill. There are two people running for an at-large seat on the Fall Mountain Regional School District board: Mary Henry and Jamie Teague.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed municipal budget is $6.66 million, including an operating budget of $5.6 million, $603,000 for the water fund and $467,000 for the sewer fund. Last year, voters also approved a town budget of $6.66 million. The proposed budget for the Fall Mountain Regional School District is $36.9 million. If the budget fails, the default budget would be $37.3 million. A school warrant article asks for an appropriation of $106,000 from the Charlestown Schools Capital Reserve Fund for capital improvements for Charlestown primary and middle schools.
