Contested races: There are no contested races on the municipal side. School officers will be elected from the floor.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed town budget is $2.1 million, of which $1.5 million is to come from taxes. Last year, voters approved a town budget of $2.02 million. The proposed school budget is $6.8 million, which is up from the $6.27 million school budget voters approved last year.

When, where and how to vote: The School Districtโ€™s annual meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 3, at 6 p.m. at the Sharon Elementary School, 135 School Street. Australian ballot voting for officers will be Tuesday, March 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the elementary school. The in-person town meeting will begin at 9 a.m. that day at the school.
