PHILADELPHIA — Jordan Dingle had 27 points in Pennsylvania’s 89-79 victory over Dartmouth in Ivy League play on Saturday at the Palestra, a loss that eliminated the Big Green from the league tournament picture.
Dingle added three steals for the Quakers (17-11, 9-4 Ivy League). Max Martz scored 18 points thanks to a 7-for-11 effort from the field. Clark Slajchert finished with 17 points. It was the eighth straight victory for the Quakers.
Dame Adelekun led the way for the Big Green (9-18, 5-8) with 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Dusan Neskovic added 12 points for Dartmouth. Cam Krystowiak also had 11 points.
The Big Green went into the afternoon needing a win along with losses from Cornell and Brown to retain hope to make the four-team conference tourney heading into Saturday’s Leede Arena finale with Harvard.
NEW YORK — Kino Lilly Jr.’s 23 points helped Brown defeat Columbia.
Lilly added three steals for the Bears (14-12, 7-6 Ivy League). Paxson Wojcik added 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field, contributing eight rebounds and six assists as well. Nana Owusu-Anane recorded 13 points for Brown.
Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa led the way for the Lions (7-21, 2-11) with 18 points and four assists. Liam Murphy added 11 points for Columbia.
ALLSTON, Mass. — Ryan Langborg scored a team-high 18 points as Princeton (18-8, 9-4) held off a second-half Harvard comeback, eliminating the Crimson (14-13, 5-8) from Ivy tournament consideration.
The Tigers built a 37-23 halftime advantage and nearly frittered it all away.
Evan Nelson led three Crimson players in double figures, scoring 19 points.
