Voters narrowly approved an article to allow all-terrain vehicles – known as ATVs – on portions of town highways in order to connect to recreational trails elsewhere.
The vote was 185 to 184 in favor of the ordinance.
All other articles – including a general fund budget of $1.45 million and a highway budget of $1.03 million – also passed. All town races, including two seats on the Selectboard, were uncontested. John Dumville will serve another three-year term and Jerry Barcelow will serve another two-year term.
