Contested races: Three Selectboard seats are contested. Two are single-year positions, and the other is for a three-year term.
Budgets and spending articles: Voters will be asked to approve a $1.63 million budget, which is an 11.6% increase from last year’s $1.46 million budget.
When, where and how to vote: An informational meeting regarding the warned articles will take place over Zoom at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19. Links to the meeting can be found on the warning on the town website. Voting will take place by Australian ballot at the Pomfret Town Offices, 5218 Pomfret Road, on Tuesday, March 1, between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
