Article of note: Voters will be asked to establish a reserve fund to maintain, upgrade and upsize the town’s culverts. An initial deposit of $100,000 will come from the town’s general fund surplus.
Contested races: One-year, two-year and three-year terms on the Selectboard.
Budgets and spending articles: The general and highway funds total $3.26 million, with $2.58 million to be raised by taxes. On the school side, voters will be asked to approve a $9.58 million budget. The per pupil cost is $20,629.
When, where and how to vote: Voting by Australian ballot takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, at Damon Hall, 1 Quechee Road. Ballots will also be mailed out to all registered voters in February and can be returned to the town clerk’s office or drop box in front of Damon Hall on or before March 1.
