Crews responded to a report of a structure fire at 6:23 a.m. on Saturay at145 Kibling Hill Road. Tunbridge, Chelsea, South Royalton, Strafford, East Randolph, Sharon and Bethel fire departments responded along with First Branch Ambulance, according to a statement from the Tunbridge Fire Department.

Crews arrived to find the house, which was not being lived in at the time, engulfed in flames and worked to locate a reliable source of water single digit temperatures. The last crews cleared the scene at 1:15 p.m. One firefighter was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation and released.

As is standard practice with most any fire Vermont Department of Public Safety — Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit is conducting an investigation.
